Kinamax CR-TFMSD Micro SD/TransFlash USB 2.0 Slim Card Reader This USB 2.0 micro SD TransFlash media reader/writer works as a thumb drive too! With a micro SD flash media card inserted, it functions just like a USB thumb drive. However, unlike thumb drives that have hard-wired memory, you can easily replace the micro SD card with another. A convenient and fast data exchange device for Mobile, MP3, PDA, Digital Camera etc.

Customer Rating: Summary: Won't read 4GB - Works great with 2GB and lower Comment: I'm going to keep this review short.
Works well with my 2GB and lower capacity cards. It will not read my 4GB card.
Customer Rating: Summary: Handy, portable, works well, but not ideal for the pocket. Comment: I bought this adapter to put a spare MicroSD card to use. Transfer speeds are perfectly acceptable, it's held up well bouncing around in my bag, etc.
However, it doesn't make the best pocket USB thumb drive, for two reasons. First is the fact that the cap that protects the USB end isn't attached (and therefore easy to lose). The second is that there's no place to thread it through a keychain or zipper or whatever. (The fact that the MicroSD card protrudes a little out the other end hasn't been a problem for me, though. It stays snugly in place).
I only subtracted one star for this 'cause I'm not sure it was really intended to be used as a thumb drive; I was just hoping it would work out as one.
Customer Rating: Summary: Useful but not well built. Comment: If you need a reader that works in nearly anything (as long as it has a usb port), then this is a great deal. However, don't let it get banged around because it will break.
