Comment: You need this connection to make outside antenna work. It is a nicely made product and worth the buy. How can one go wrong as it is just a connector between the radio and the antenna cable. You need it, so buy it.

Comment: I got this adapter to connect a roof mount antenna to a Cobra Handheld CB. The Handheld has a BNC plug while the cable from the roof mount antenna had a standard antenna connector. Anyway, this hooked the two together and worked out just great.
