Summary: Good Idea, but......
Comment: This is a great idea -- but I can't get the suction cups that came with my Tom Tom GPS to stick to the flat part of the base. I have tried everything short of screws or glue, but the suction cup just will not adhere properly. The base itself does not move when place on the dash, but the GPS still flies off when cornering and/or braking. Perhaps other GPS brands will work, but my Tom Toms (I have 2) does NOT work with this dash mat.

Comment: I agree with many of the other reviews that this accessory is wonderful. I am not that agressive of a driver, but even driving through rough pavement in construction zones or down unpaved roads, this dash pad does not move! I also love the fact that I can take the GPS with me and put the dash pad down on the floor out of sight. If you are thinking about getting a GPS, buy this accessory! You won't be sorry.

Product was exactly as detailed and works even better than advertised. The design is flawless with a super-slick surface to securely mount GPS unit and a rubberized bottom that really grabs the dash surface. It could likely stay put on a 45-degree angle!

Comment: Through Amazon, I was able to get 2 of these dash pads at an incredible price. Since I live in California, I can't mount my GPS on my windshield. This is great for my 4.3" GPS; never any instability. Very convenient to put on & off of the dash. I'm very glad I bought them.

Summary: The Best Accessory Possible
Comment: I don't like the idea of having anything permanently attached to my windshield. I also don't like the idea of having to look in the center of the windshield to see a screen. Instead, I've placed it on my dash mat to the left of my steering wheel. I can see my TomTom easily and it's easy to reach out and change the screen. When I arrive at a destination or errand stop, I easily move it from my dash to the passenger side floor where I hide it under empty shopping bags (the ones we're all supposed to be using now). I wouldn't be without this accessory. Amazon's price is excellent. Definitely recommended.
