Flexible enough to be expanded and upgraded simply by inserting a SD, Memory Stick, Memory Stick PRO, MMC and xD-Picture cards and is compatible with USB 2.0 ports. . You can keep separate cards for separate uses. Since no drivers are required, it's easy to hook up to any computer with an available USB port.

Summary: Excellent product, very portable
Comment: This product is just what it says. I've only used it with SD cards (both full size and micro) but it reads them quite well and is relatively fast. I would recommend it for anyone who moves between several computers.

Comment: I purchased this to work with my Macbook Air. So far it has worked perfectly and I've been able to back up a lot of my work on the cards. It has also worked seamlessly reading my camera card.

Comment: This device feels like a plastic toy, but it works very well with my XD-Picture cards, which most multi-card readers can't handle. A three foot usb cable is included. Getting the card in and out of the slot wasn't difficult after the first few times. The potentially loose cover isn't an issue with me because I leave the reader plugged into my desktop computer with the usb cable.

Comment: I have had one of these for two or three years and love it. Yes, I lost the cap fairly soon after getting it, but it's never been a problem. I don't travel with it often, and when I do I put it in Zip-Loc bag.
It saves me from having to connect my cameras to the computer to download photos and from having to connect my digital photo frame to load photos for display. I also used it as a data-trasfer device because my SD cards hold more than any of my flash drives.
It has proven to be durable, and inserting and removing the cards is not an issue at all. For the money, you can't beat it.
