Great suction and as long as you don't plan on cleaning your entire house or apt with this all in one shot, the battery life shouldn't be a problem. This is great for the quick little clean ups. I went for the cheaper model figuring that the batteries are limited lifetime and had a concern in the back of my mind that it might lack power. While I hate the idea of planned obsolescence, the fact is that they keep improving them from generation to generation, while keeping the prices competitive.
